What's New

If you have been keeping up with the latest K-dramas, chances are that you’d definitely be familiar with the drama When The Phone Rings (2024).
And if you are a fan of the show and the male lead, you are in luck.
Yoo Yeon-seok will be coming to Singapore to hold his fan meeting titled The Secret Code: “Y”. It will be held at The Theatre at Mediacorp on 27 March (Thu).
The actor will also be making stops in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Taipei and Jakarta.
You may know Yoo from portraying Paik Sa-eon in When The Phone Rings. In the series, he played a presidential spokesperson engaged to Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin).

The couple’s relationship is not the most smooth-sailing one, but things take a turn after he gets a call from a kidnapper who claims to have kidnapped his wife.
However, Yoo is not an unfamiliar face in the industry either.
A veteran actor himself, he made his debut in Oldboy (2003). He rose to stardom shortly after after landing himself the lead role in Reply 1994 (2013).
The actor has gone on to star in other dramas such as Doctor Romantic (2016) and Hospital Playlist (2020).
With such a stacked filmography, the actor made himself a household name. He earned himself prestigious accolades such as Best Actor in the Asia Artist Award in 2018 and being nominated for Most Popular Actor in the recent 2024 Baeksang Arts Awards.
Fans can look forward to seeing him act out iconic scenes, and perform tunes live at his upcoming fan meeting.
