Hallyu Spotlight: Meet KiiiKiii, Starship Entertainment’s new girl group

Starship Entertainment, home to stars like WJSN, IVE and more, has announced its newest girl group KiiiKiii, a dynamic quintet set to captivate fans with their boundless energy.

To date, the group has released two pre-debut tracks ahead of their debut set on 24 Mar.

Who is KiiiKiii?

Well, KiiiKiii has five members: Jiyu, Sui, Kya, Leesol and Haum.

The group is ready to mesmerise fans with their fearless storytelling and limitless energy. KiiiKiii will also soon drop their first EP, Uncut Gem, on 24 Mar.

With their youthful concept and fun performances, we can foresee the group making a lasting impression in K-pop, just like their Starship seniors.

Pre-release tracks

I Do Me (2025) was first revealed even before the members’ names were announced, which grabbed attention from the get-go due to its unexpected release. 

This track is a vibrant pop-dance number containing notions of the Gen Z mindset of independence.

Embodying a sense of empowerment yet charisma and fun, the track contains lyrics that challenge the status quo.

Debut Song (2025) came as the group’s second pre-debut release track. So, technically, it is not exactly their debut song.

The track, though, does carry a witty approach and celebratory beat. It is accompanied by its music video showcasing the members’ reenactment to celebrate their debut with fictional music show appearances.

Visually, the video does not have large sets and cinematic shots. Instead, it’s more casual in style, almost like a Vlog, if you would, and its aesthetic is pretty much founded on Y2K.

Since its release, the music video has garnered over a million views.
