1. The Potato Lab

A refreshing take on romantic comedy, this series takes place in a potato lab. The female lead, a researcher whose life centered around potatoes, soon finds herself in the eye of a storm.

In particular, her troubles stem from the strict director of the conglomerate company that merges with her research institution. As the drama progresses, viewers can anticipate watching their budding romance take root.

2. When Life Gives You Tangerines

One of March’s most highly anticipated dramas, this show is more than its cast.

Featuring IU and Park Bo-gum, the film tells a story of the unwavering affection between childhood sweethearts.

Together with the pair’s contrasting personalities and the show’s setting in 1950s Jeju, this series stands out among the many upcoming romance films.

4. Hyper Knife

Following The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’s major success, many fans have been eagerly awaiting the next hit medical series. Hyper Knife is the next medical Korean drama set to drop. However, its storyline does a complete 180.

This series follows a genius neurosurgeon (Park Eun-bin), who got banned from the surgery room by her mentor.

Touted as the best neurosurgeon in the world, her mentor aims to uncover her secrets after reuniting. Merging the crime and medical genres, this series also presents a new side to Park, who plays a character reminiscent of a double-edged sword.

Hyper Knife releases on Disney+ on 19 Mar.

5. The Divorce Insurance

Judging by the cast alone, this show is probably one that would get you laughing your socks off.

Lee Dong-wook and Lee Kwang-soo star in this rom-com series which follows a product developer at an insurance company.

After divorcing three times, he gained inspiration for a novel insurance policy — one that “secures your happiness”. Subsequently, he establishes the divorce insurance team, whose chemistry is worth keeping an eye on.

The Divorce Insurance premieres on Prime Video from 31 Mar.
