Jackson Wang is the newest brand ambassador for sunscreen brand Anessa

Jackson Wang is the latest brand ambassador for global sunscreen brand, Anessa.

Just last week, the brand announced that the multi-hyphenate will be its ambassador for the Asia-Pacific region. In a press statement, it also said: “Jackson Wang embodies Anessa’s relentless innovation and deep-rooted expertise in UV protection over the past 30 years”.

Wang is not a new name in the industry. He is known for his musical prowess as a member of K-pop boy band GOT7 and as a solo artist.

In fact, GOT7 recently held their concert Nestfest at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, marking their reunification after some six years.

On solo endeavours, Wang teased a new album last month. A sequel to his previous release, his upcoming drop, Magic Man 2, is conceptually based on the concept of grief.

The album will be split into four chapters, each exploring a different stage of grief. For now, he dropped a new single High Alone (2025) last month, and fans can look forward to more from him in the coming months.

This includes his collaboration with Anessa. Moving forward, both Wang and the brand will work together to usher a new chapter of professional Ultimate UV protection.

Wang is known for his commitment to a healthy lifestyle and his penchant for outdoor activities. So it’s no understatement to say that Wang is the perfect embodiment of the brand’s philosophy.

To celebrate the appointment of Wang as the brand’s APAC ambassador, Anessa will also be holding a pop-up event. The Universal Suncare, Infinite Protection pop-up is located at Ngee Ann City B1 Atrium, from 21 Mar (Fri) to 30 Mar (Sun).
