GOT7 members speak out following displeasure for upcoming Nestfest concert in Bangkok

GOT7 will hold their Nestfest concert in Thailand’s Rajamangala Stadium this week. However, some have taken to social media to express their disapproval over ticketing and more.

The concert is scheduled to be held from Friday to Saturday (2-3 May). It’s not uncommon for GOT7 to hold shows in Thailand. After all, member BamBam was born there, and it made good sense to hold another show back in his hometown.

The upcoming Nestfest show is their first concert in six years. It’s also all the more special, as it is also a one-off show, rather than part of a tour.

That said, fans are not pleased with pre-show ticketing arrangements.

In a social media post previously shared by concert organiser 411ent, it stated that there will be a “local pre-sale”. This means that locals may get their hands on tickets before the general sale.

Pre-sales for concerts are not uncommon. But most are limited to those with fan memberships, a certain credit card and more. As such, some have expressed their displeasure to the members, saying that it is “unfair”.

It seems like the members are aware of the displeasure on social media.

Jackson shared on X: “I want to throw a party for all my audience. All free entry and have a good time,” he said, a seeming reference to the fans who were not able to snag tickets.

Fellow bandmate BamBam also shared: “Before [you blame, I] want to show everyone what’s going on behind, [what the truth is”. “I hope I can show you every detail from the beginning so everyone can understand how upset I have been,” he added.
