BTS’ Jin shot teasers for new song “Don’t Say You Love Me” in Singapore

Jin is back with new music. This Friday (16 May), the BTS member will be releasing his second solo album, Echo (2025).

But what makes it all the more special is that he shot the teaser images in Singapore.

The images showcase a slice of Singapore’s culture, including the Fullerton Hotel and a glimpse of our city-state’s skyline. In the image, it stated in Korean (translated in English): “Conflicting gazes, and entangled hearts”.

It added: “The man who still remains, even though the love is gone, can we ever love again?”

If anything, Jin’s upcoming tracks seem to be centred on love. The second poster also shows him with actress Shin Se-kyung, who will appear in the music video.

The second poster shows the duo running in one of the domes of Gardens by the Bay. We also see the duo facing each other in what seems to be a hotel room, with the Singapore Flyer and the National Stadium in the backdrop.

As for his upcoming music video, it is not clear whether it will feature more iconic locations in Singapore. However, he is not the first K-pop act to shoot a music video in Singapore.

In 2018, K-pop girl group I-dle also shot photos for their album jacket in Haji Lane. K-drama Little Women (2022) also shot some scenes in Singapore’s central business district (CBD).

 Jin has previously dropped a wide range of solo hits, from energetic and peppy ones like Super Tuna (2022) to more melancholic ones like The Astronaut (2022).

He’s ramping up activities after his military discharge. Recently, he was spotted at Coldplay’s concerts in Seoul, making a special appearance to perform live with Chris Martin.
