CL joins G-Dragon as part of line-up for Singapore F1 Grand Prix 2025

This year’s Singapore F1 Grand Prix will bring back more Korean stars. Following the announcement that G-Dragon will play, F1 Night Race confirmed today (14 May) that they will be adding CL to the line-up.

Commonly known as “the leaders”, probably after the release of a track of the same name in 2009, they are easily one of the most iconic duos in the K-pop field. G-Dragon and CL lead and front some of the hottest bands in K-pop, namely Bigbang and 2NE1, respectively.

Coincidentally, the duo will also play on the same night, on 3 Oct (Fri).

They last performed together at G-Dragon’s Goyang concert held in South Korea, as part of his solo tour Übermensch. No surprises, but they performed R.O.D (2013) and The Leaders (2009), flaunting their unmatched synergy and charisma.

Other additions to the entertainment line-up also include American rock band Foo Fighters, Alan Walker, Crowded House, The Smashing Pumpkins and more.

Last year, the event also saw acts like Babymonster and XG play at the Padang Stage. In 2023, it also saw Jackson Wang, Bibi and more perform live, as part of the 88rising set.

This is not the only time we’ll see CL and G-Dragon at the same event, though. Further from home in Vietnam, the duo will also play together at the K-Star Spark Mega Concert. The show will take place on 21 Jun (Sat), at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

In Singapore, other K-pop acts like Le Sserafim, NCT’s Doyoung, EXO’s Kai, Doh Kyung-soo, and more will also be holding shows in the coming months.
