Singapore’s weather is not the only thing heating up this June. The upcoming slate of K-dramas is also adding to the heat.
An exciting crossover will occur between second-generation K-pop stars Ok Taec-yeon and Seohyun in The First Night With The Duke (2025). Of course, Squid Game (2021-2025) will drop its third (and final) season near the end of the month.
To help you decide what to catch, HallyuSG has narrowed down five of our must-watch series here.
1. Mercy for None
Mercy for None (2025) is an action-packed show adapted from the webtoon Plaza Wars, written by Oh Se-hyung and Kim Kyun-tae.
It follows the journey of a former gangster who returns to the gang with which he had previously severed ties, to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death
This gritty thriller series is perfect for viewers who love intense fight scenes.
Mercy for None premieres on Netflix on 6 Jun.
2. The First Night with the Duke
Just hearing the names of this drama’s main leads is enough to turn heads.
2PM’s Taecyeon and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun make a stunning pair in this new fantasy romance based on a webtoon of the same name.
The series revolves around an ordinary college student (played by Seohyun). However, she soon finds that her soul is transferred into the body of a character in a romance novel.
The First Night With The Duke premieres on Viki on 11 Jun.
3. Our Movie
Be sure to have your tissues ready before you dive into this show.
Our Movie (2025) tells the story of a film director and an aspiring actress who are both dealing with health complications. Feeling like their time is running out, they turn to each other for comfort and eventually fall in love.
The 12-part series will star K-actors like Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-been.
Our Movie premieres on Disney+ on 13 Jun.
4. Squid Game 3
It’s time for the games again.
The ending of Squid Game’s second season had viewers scratching their heads with its iffy cliffhanger.

The series will see familiar faces returning to our screens, like Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hoon, T.O.P, Kang Ha-neul, Jo Yu-ri and more.
Squid Game 3 premieres on Netflix on 27 Jun.
5. Good Boy
Park Bo-gum takes on quite a different role in the new K-drama Good Boy (2025). Here, he plays Yoon Dong-Joo, an Olympic boxing gold medallist with some hardships in life.
Co-lead Kim So-hyun plays ex-Olympic shooting gold medallist Ji Han-na, who later also becomes a police officer after an incident which shook the world.
The drama will follow their journey as police officers, set against a world of rampant injustice.
Good Boy premiered on Prime Video on 31 May.
