Festival Ready: Here are 4 tips to survive Waterbomb Singapore 2025 like a pro

Anticipation is at an all-time high as we inch closer to the Waterbomb Singapore 2025 weekend. However, we know that attending a music festival is no easy feat. Add water into the mix, and the intensity level undoubtedly increases.

It can be tiring to stand in the mosh pit for the entire day, and the Singapore heat sure isn’t of much help.

To help you out, we have compiled a few of our favourite survival tips, from makeup hacks to some know-hows, so you can be sure to enjoy the festival with ease.

1. Waterproof makeup

Everyone wants to look their best at concerts and festivals for that perfect Instagram shot. But it can be difficult to rock a perfect look at a water music festival — particularly, for your makeup.

Lucky for us, Kwon Eun-bi’s makeup artist shared her tips for longer-lasting makeup (yes, one which holds through Waterbomb). The secret? It all lies within two products.

First, to set your makeup in place, use a setting spray. An example is Skindinavia’s The Makeup Finishing Spray, which contains the original formula for Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray.

Then, upkeep your eye makeup using so natural’s Make-up Setting Multi Magic Sealer. Apply it on top of your eye makeup, and you can be assured they’ll remain in place till the end of the night.

2. Dress comfortably

We all know that Waterbomb starts pretty early in the afternoon and only ends at night. It goes without saying how important it is to dress comfortably. After all, you’ll be wearing that outfit for the rest of the night, wet or not.

We’d strongly recommend against long denim, sneakers and socks. That doesn’t mean you can’t serve a fashion moment, though. For the ladies, opt for a bikini, bandana or mesh as your top, and a low-waisted bottom would complete the look.

For the guys, accessorise your fit with the Waterbomb towel slogan, and you’re all ready to go.

Pro tip: Don’t forget to bring an extra set of clothes to avoid getting too cold at night.

3. Hydration is key

Singapore’s heat is strong, and you’re about to spend the whole day basking in it. Needless to say, it’s key to drink up and hydrate before the event. Plus, drinking water might not be as accessible, unless you’re willing to splurge a little on drinks.

4. Pack light

For the safety of all patrons, security may get a little tight. Our suggestion? Pack light for the event and ditch all the unneeded items. But you won’t want to forget essentials like sunscreen, your waterproof pouch for your mobile phone, and your protective goggles.

You’d also want to know that only official Waterbomb water guns will be allowed inside the festival grounds, per local enforcement guidelines. But if you have the water gun from Waterbomb Singapore 2024, bring it along too.
