Park Min-young and Kim Jae-wook Team Up for New K-Drama “Her Private Life”, To Premiere in April

Ever wonder how fan sites for celebrities and idols are operated? This coming April, a brand new drama Her Private Life will give you a little more insights! Premiering April 11 on tvN in Asia, 24 hours after Korea’s telecast, the drama follows the romance between an art gallery curator, Sung Suk-mi (played by Park Min-young) and her boss, Ryan Gold (played by Kim Jae-wook).

While Park Min-young is not new to rom-com dramas, her character this time round will take an interesting twist to showcase a different side of her. Playing the role of Suk-mi, she’s extremely hard working and obedient at work, but little do people know that she is a fangirl of Cha Shi-ahn (played by ONE) and secretly manages a popular fan site.

On the other hand, Kim Jae-wook plays Ryan Gold, a cold and harsh director of an art gallery, who used to be a famous painter. While he shows zero interest in idols previously, Ryan suddenly joins the fandom to much surprise, creating a huge contrast from his serious character.

The one-of-a-kind “fandom romance” between Suk-mi and Ryan Gold has certainly aroused great anticipation from the audience and generated much online buzz from netizens. Her Private Life will take over the time slot occupied previously by Touch Your Heart.

Her Private Life will air its first episode on tvN in Asia from April 11 (Every Thursday and Friday) at 21:45 (GMT+8) in Singapore and Malaysia, and at 20:45 (GMT+7) in Indonesia, with English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia subtitles. Singapore viewers can catch the drama premiere on Singtel TV Channel 518 (HD) / Channel 619 (HD) or StarHub TV Channel 824 (HD).
