K-Drama stars Ji Soo and Kim So-hyun were in town last week (21 Feb) to celebrate the grand opening of Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. The event also saw the latest launch of Gentle Monster’s 2019 collection, “13”.
The new collection “13”, seeks inspiration from a futuristic concept and features a mix of classic and advant-garde designs, perfect for both fashionistas and those looking for a trusty pair of sunnies for everyday use.
During a short interview at the photowall, Ji Soo and Kim So-hyun answered a few questions about their personal style and how they would match their outfits with their chosen eyewear.
When asked which pair of frames the actor would recommend to someone precious to him, he chose the CHAMELEON M02 frames as it is clean cut yet striking, fitting his personal style. Kim So Hyun chose the BAGUETTE M01 instead as she feels that it is simple but has a special colour so it’s easy to use and match with different outfits.
As Ji Soo is known to have a keen interest in fashion, he also gave a few tips on how he would match his outfit to the classic frames: Keep it simple, all black and let the focus be on the highlight of the outfit, which are the glasses.
The brand new collection ranges from S$368 to S$509 and is now available at both Gentle Monster Singapore flagship stores in ION Orchard (#01-13) and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (Canal Level, B2-103).
