[INTERVIEW] Nichkhun Shares His Love for Eating and Talks About His New Culinary Show, “Wok The World”

Being a chef is not easy!” exclaimed Nichkhun as he talked about how it was liked working alongside ‘Demon Chef’ Alvin Leung and MasterChef Canada Winner Eric Chong. The trio were recently in town to film for tvN Asia’s latest production “Wok The World” and we were fortunately able to score an interview with the Thailand Prince himself during his downtime.

During the insightful albeit short interview, Nichkhun revealed that although the trio never got the chance to cook with one another, he has learned a lot about the food and its history from the talented chefs during the filming. Furthermore, his experiences with the two chefs taught him that being a chef is more than just knowing how to cook – It’s about knowing the importance of each and every ingredient and combining them to create a new dimension to its taste.

Curious to find out what went down during the interview? Check out the video below to find out more about Nichkhun and his thoughts on eating, cooking, and food! Special thanks to Nichkhun for taking time out to join us for this interview. 😁

[COVER] BROTHER OF THE YEAR Cast Revealed Great Chemistry With One Another

The cast and director of Thailand’s No.1 box office movie hit “BROTHER OF THE YEAR” were in Singapore to promote their movie last week.

Starring Sunny Suwanmethanon (Sunny), Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul (Nichkhun) and Urassaya Sperbund (Yaya), BROTHER OF THE YEAR tells the story of Jane (Yaya) and her annoying older brother Chut (Sunny), who always ruin her romantic relationships. It is no surprise when Jane meets the perfect boyfriend Moji (Nichkhun), Chut goes all out to put a stop to anything that makes his little sister happy.

When asked about their respective roles, Sunny expressed that it wasn’t that big of a challenge playing the demon brother as it came across as a natural role for him. In the movie, he had scenes with an owl and a baby, but he didn’t see it as a challenge too.

“It’s not that hard acting with an animal or baby. I was just concerned about the sensitivity as I can’t really control the owl or baby (if he cries).”

Nichkhun, who plays the perfect boyfriend in the movie, added that he’d love to challenge himself with a bad boy role in the near future.

On the other hand, Yaya also spoke fondly of the great chemistry with both actors, and joked that Sunny and Nichkhun should have a switch in their characters, with Sunny playing the sweet brother and Nichkhun playing the demon boyfriend.

Speaking of the love-hate sibling relationship, Sunny also shared that he wouldn’t mind having a bossy sister just like Yaya in the movie, “I will try to understand her. Everybody has a reason to act this way, so I think I will understand if I have a sister like her.”

BROTHER OF THE YEAR is now open in Golden Village cinemas. Be sure to catch the box office hit on the big screens!
